At Locust Lane Riding Center, we provide programs that teach more than horsemanship.
Our mission is to enrich lives through equestrian activities that promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
We cultivate resilience and help overcome adverse childhood experiences through connected relationships with horses and mentors. We specialize in equine-assisted therapies and equine-assisted learning for personal development. Our programs educate, equip, and empower young people to reach their full potential.

Your commitment especially helps us as we seek to change the statistics regarding suicide among young people. Did you know that every day, 16 young people die from suicide? According to The New York Times, after declining for nearly two decades, the suicide rate among Americans ages 10 to 24 jumped 56 percent between 2007 and 2017.

Sponsor a Horse
The horses of Locust Lane are at the very heart of the work we do. Each horse on the farm plays an important role in our programs.
Some of our horses have been rescued from slaughter, some have been given to our care as the previous owners were no longer able to afford them, some have been sent to us for retirement and given a new purpose in life.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help ensure that our horses receive the best care possible.
To sponsor a specific horse, we're happy to receive a donation in any amount.
With a commitment of $100 a month for three months or more, you may book a special session with an LLRC team leader and the horse you've sponsored to show them all the love. We'll be sure to grab a photo of you together to capture your special experience.
A sponsorship is a great idea to celebrate a special holiday, birthday or in memory of a good friend (human or equine).
